On the street ethnography

From time to time there’s a need to conduct user research but no money to put towards user testing.  Aside from Snickers Testing in the employee cafeteria (shout out to Kath Straub who taught me the term), I’ve argued we should hit the streets.  After all, my organization claims one its target audiences are “the public”.  Well, here’s one group who did hit the street.

P.S.  I’m working very hard to help my organization understand that even the public library’s target audience isn’t “the public”.
