Now THAT is what I’m talking about!
I was a marine science major. We often got in to discussions about making people care about various environmental issues. A technique was to develop a Save the Cute Animal campaign. In some cases, you really didn’t care so much about saving the Cute Animal as much as you cared about saving the Cute Animal’s habitat. The thing is, most people just didn’t care about saving the “ugly” Arctic tundra. But throw a picture of an adorable, sad faced, fuzzy seal pup in and you were golden.
Corporations are no different. They need to develop their own Save the Cute Animal campaign.
